Chillshark is a cold plunge system designed by Ryan Krause and I at Sample Studio. The goal was to create a product that turns any bathtub in to an elegant cold plunging experience, in any bathroom or space.

We worked with the founders from the ground up, shaping the brand, product design, and user experience in parallel. The form is built around a roto-molded tub with softened geometry and a calm, understated presence.

The shape of the unit mirrors the proprietary silicone mat, creating a cohesive visual system. The mat and integrated intake manifolds guide the hoses while offering a soft, organized touch point for the user. A rear service door gives quick access to hose connections, filter changes, and user-facing information.
